ANZ Royal Cambodia recently announced ANZ ATM terminals across Cambodia are now beginning to accept UnionPay EMV enabled credit and debit cards.
ANZ Royal’s entire ATM network has been upgraded, enhancing UnionPay’s coverage with over 100 ATMs nationwide.
To mark the occasion, an event was held at the Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia, attended by executives from ANZ Royal and UnionPay International.
Speaking at the event, Leonie Lethbridge, ANZ Royal’s CEO, said: “Over the past year alone international arrivals from China have increased 24%, accounting for 14.5% of the total international visitors to the country.”
China UnionPay, also knows as UnionPay, is the only domestic bank card organisation in China. It is also the only interbank network in China, linking the ATMs of all banks throughout the mainland and widely accepted in Hong Kong and Macau.
