Realestate.com.kh, Cambodia’s most visited real estate website, is pleased to announce the Cambodia Real Estate Show 2 on October 6 and 7 at NagaWorld Hotel in Phnom Penh. Following the success of the first event in May this year, the show is back to provide a forum for local and international property investors to visit the leading developments in the region in one convenient place.

The last show attracted over 3,000 guests from across the region, and resulted in over 30 properties being sold over the two days, and even more in the days after the show. This success not only created a high demand from developers and agencies in the market for a second show this year in October – but huge demand from visitors and investors that joined the event.

Cambodia is increasingly becoming the focus of international property investors from across the ASEAN region, China and the world. Compared to neighbouring countries in the region, Cambodia is offering freehold foreign ownership and strong investment growth prospects.

While those living in Cambodia are well aware of the fast changes happening in regards to real estate, construction and infrastructural development in major cities such as Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Siem Reap, many internationals have little understanding of the quality of real estate now available in the Kingdom and the investment potential for those purchasing property here.

Thus, in order to accommodate this growing appetite for Cambodia property, Realestate.com.kh has organized the most focused real estate exhibition event that the country has ever seen.

With over 30 real estate developments exhibiting over the two days, “The Cambodia Real Estate Show” – sponsored by SEAPS Cambodia (South East Asia Property Services), Harvey Law Group (HLG), and VDB Loi – will demonstrate the finest property investment opportunities currently on offer across the nation. The audience will include both international investors and local property buyers.

Tom O’Sullivan, CEO of Realestate.com.kh, said: “the intention of the Cambodia Real Estate Show 2 in October 6 and 7 is to promote Cambodia and the Cambodia real estate industry both locally and internationally. We are bringing together a collection of the nation’s finest new projects, as well as other businesses that influence and play a role in the market.”

“During the show, attendees will also be able to watch various educational seminars which will assist property buyers and investors understanding the market, the legal obligations of property ownership, and to help them to make educated decisions when purchasing real estate in Cambodia,” he added.

There will be a variety of seminars during this two-day event. Speakers who will share key information to attendees include Sok Siphana, Managing Partner at Sok Siphana & Associates, a member of ZicoLaw; Rami Sharaf, Senior Vice President of the Royal Group of Companies; Matthew Rendall, Senior Partner at Sok Siphana & Associates, a member of ZicoLaw; Simon Griffiths, General Manager of Metro Global Solutions (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.; Colin Tan, Chairman of Colin Tan Training International; David Marshall, Partner at Mekong Strategic Partners (MSP); Lok Oknha CHENG Kheng, Chairman & CEO, CPL Cambodia Properties Limited; Lucas Vosch & Robert Porter, Legal & tax advisors, VDB Loi; Daphne (邓文芳), Vice President of Sino-Shanghai Investment; Guillaume Matz, Attorney at Law, HLG (Harvey Law Group) and many more.

The free seminars will be available in three languages over the two days of the event – Khmer, English and Chinese – with translation headsets available to guests. Topics will include property investment advice, ownership law, tax considerations, infrastructure developments, notably the One Belt One Road initiative, market comparisons and Cambodia’s economic growth prospects. Panel discussions and question and answers sessions with the audience will also be part of the seminar schedule.

“Furthermore,” continues O’Sullivan, “a real estate show closes the gap between the investor and the opportunity. When investors from throughout the region and world arrive in Phnom Penh for our real estate show, they will feel, smell and touch Cambodia; and they will see the drastic changes happening here in terms of construction and real estate development. They will also understand the infrastructural improvements that are transforming the country into an economic hub. This exposure to Cambodia will give them confidence to invest in property here.”

O’Sullivan concludes, “People buy property in countries they love, and at realestate.com.kh, we are confident international visitors to our real estate show will soon fall in love with Cambodia.

“We are excited to be bringing the best of the best from the last show as well as some new flavours and opportunities for the October edition including more borey, plot land and affordable condos as well as more international developers from Thailand, Singapore, Cyprus & Australia.

“Developers and agencies exhibiting at the show include the Creed Group, Orkide Villa, Star City, City Park, Star5 Developers, J&L Property Development, Prince Real Estate, Blue Bay, The Park Way, Bali Scenery, Tai Yue, VKirirom, Boning Garden, Penthouse Residences, The Skyline, East Commercial Center (ECC), CORE@PPSEZ, D’Seaview, Borey Bo Ao, NC Max World, SEAPS Cambodia, Capital Management Solutions, Century 21 Global Alliance (Singapore), and Found Group (Australia).

“On top of this, there will also be a range of banks offering pre-approved home loan options. Banks at the show include Bred Bank, PPCB & Canadia Bank.

“Outside of this, we have a host of corporate partners joining the show including RCD Furniture, LCJ, Lastmile Works VR, CDF, AIA Insurance, Thien Tu, Homeloans.com.kh, and RealestateCRM & Website Solutions.

“Local and international media partners have been a key to the success of the event so far – as now the Cambodia Real Estate show has over 3,500 registered attendees expected over the 2 days. Our gracious thanks to media partners for the event: The Khmer Times, Jian Hua Daily, Gold Zone Media, Grep Tech, B2B Cambodia, Angkor Today, The British Chamber of Commerce, The American Chamber of Commerce, The European Chamber of Commerce, AEC News Today, Property Report, CVEA, CCA, Kampuchea Thmey, Cambonomist, Thmey Thmey, E-Link, Biz Khmer, Business Cambodia, Tranio International Property, BTV, and the Sin Chew Daily.
