Cambodia now has its first drive-through quick service restaurant, with American burger chain Carl’s Jr. opening its inaugural outlet in Phnom Penh on Monday.

The latest addition to the global frachise marks the 40th country that parent company CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc.—which also operates the Hardee’s restaurant chain—has entered into following recent openings in Australia, Japan and Kenya.

“This is an important market for our overall expansion strategy and we plan to open 15 restaurants in the country to offer Cambodians a superior burger experience,” stated CKE International President Ned Lyerly.

Carl’s Jr. restaurant is located in BKK1, on the corner of Street 51 and Street 310, with daily opening times of 10am to 10pm. Eat in customers can enjoy free refillable drinks from the beverage bar, partial table service, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
