All Nippon Airways (ANA) launched yesterday a direct service between Narita airport, in Tokyo, and Phnom Penh, marking the first regular service between Japan and Cambodia.
The Japanese airline will cover the route with seven round-trip flights a week using its Boeing 787 fleet.
“Friendship between the two countries will become deeper through the new service,” Cambodian Ambassador to Japan Chea Kimtha said during a commemoration ceremony at Narita airport, as reported by the Cambodia Daily.
