Electronics and gadgets seller T-Shop has become the first Cambodian business to offer franchise options, with two already sold and five more currently in negotiations for provincial locations.
T-Shop CEO Bung Hor noted that their unique mobile phone and car accessories, which are sourced thanks to links with Chinese suppliers, have proven highly popular amongst customers of the Phnom Penh outlet.
“We are so proud to be the first Cambodian-owned brand offering franchising to aspiring young entrepreneurs, and we seek to create more jobs for young Cambodians and invest in them to help them have more professional careers,” Hor told the Khmer Times.
Hor declined to reveal the cost of a T-Shop franchise, but noted that franchisees will be distributed branded products and given business and sales support as well as training.
