B2B Cambodia spoke with the Indian Chamber of Commerce Cambodia President Sandeep Majumdar in Phnom Penh at the 2023 Pinnacle Business Excellence Awards.
This co-coincided with a three-day visit of an Indian delegation organised by Cambodia’s Honorary Consul in Bangalore for the South Indian States, Karthik Tallam, along with the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (InCham).
Cambodia would benefit from working with Indian high-tech/fintech industries and skills advancement and Karthik told the Khmer Times that “talks are progressing about the possible visit of an Indian women entrepreneurs’ delegation to Cambodia in July 2023”.
Majumdar further added that starting direct flights between the two countries “can go a long way in strengthening the trade and tourism ties.”
Among the incentives for international investors is the ability to own a business in Cambodia 100%, the Investment Law. as well as the soon-to-be-promulgated new taxation law of Cambodia which allegedly will provide more incentives.
InCham – Indian Chamber of Commerce Cambodia
The Indian Chamber of Commerce Cambodia wants to promote bilateral trade and business from India to conduct business in the Kingdom and for Cambodian businesses to offer their services in India.
They have three categories of members they have brought a number of business chamber delegations between India and Cambodia and vice versa.
