Am Cham invites you to the initial  meeting of our newly re-established Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee. We welcome all members to be part of this committee, and we will be discussing our possible goals and objectives, as well as future activities.

What is CSR?
As defined by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) CSR is a management concept in which the private sector integrates social and environmental concerns in their business practices and operations, and in interactions with stakeholders.
It is also important to distinguish between CSR, which can be considered a strategic business management concept, and sponsorships, charity or philanthropy.  Even though the latter can  make a valuable contribution to society, and can directly enhance the reputation of a company and strengthen its brand, the concept of CSR encompasses much more.
