AmCham hosts a free presentation entitled “They Look Before They Leap” at the second floor of Joma Cafe, Street 294, on September 29. The presentation will discuss what investors look for in startups, before they commit their money.
The SME and Startups Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia invite you to a presentation by internationally recognised venture investor and entrepreneur training and development guru, Mr. Rithy Sim.
Mr. Sim has an extensive track record in successfully finding and investing in small and startup companies across Asia. He is Founder and CEO of Leadership and Development Center, a leading Human Resources Development organization in Cambodia. He is also Founder and CEO of SIM Healthcare Pte. Ltd., a successful marketer of vaccines, cosmetics and other consumable products across SE Asia.
In his presentation he will share his perspectives on what investors are looking for before they commit their funding to SMEs and starups, how they want to be engaged or “pitched” and what kind of follow up from the candidate companies they prefer.
By attending this event, participants will gain knowledge to help guide their fund raising efforts, from the general strategies to employ to specific actions they might take.
