ADMIT GROUP and the Cambodia Pepper and Spices Federation (CPSF), with the support of FEED The FUTURE USAID Cambodia Harvest III, have announced the addition of AMK Microfinance Institution Plc (AMK) as a financial sponsor and partner for the Cambodia Export Development Program (CEDP).

Launched in December 2023, CEDP is an initiative aimed at providing tailored support to 10 exporters in Cambodia. The program offers comprehensive training sessions covering a wide range of crucial areas, including Accounting, Finance, HR Management, Product Compliance, Export Marking Plans, Export Compliance, and Business Matchmaking. This holistic approach seeks to ensure that participating exporters receive the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their export readiness.

Three out of 10 exporters involved in CEDP will receive personalised, one-on-one coaching. This intensive coaching will focus on identifying and addressing any gaps or areas that require improvement. The main aim is to provide targeted guidance, advice, and recommendations to help these exporters reach their full potential.

AMK joining as a financial sponsor of CEDP will contribute to improving the export readiness of Cambodian exporters by providing vital financial support and resources.

Commenting on the partnership, Kea Borann, representative of AMK, expressed enthusiasm about joining CEDP. He said:

We are proud to be a part of this transformative initiative. By supporting CEDP, we aim to empower and enable Cambodian exporters to access financing, fostering economic growth by providing them with the necessary financial tools and resources.

“We are delighted to welcome AMK to the Cambodia Export Development Program,” added Van Vannal, Executive Director at CPSF. “AMK’s participation and financial sponsorship will play a vital role in driving the success of the program, enabling us to offer comprehensive support and resources to Cambodian exporters. Together, we can foster a thriving export sector and contribute to the economic development of Cambodia.”

CEDP is driving sustainable growth and helping to unlock the full potential of Cambodia’s export industry.”

CEDP strives to unlock the full potential of Cambodian exporters and position them for success in the international arena. Through comprehensive training sessions and personalised coaching, the program aims to equip exporters with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the complexities of the global market effectively.
