Cellcard congratulates one of its Brand Ambassadors, rising rap and dance star Juvie Lin from Polarix, for making through to semi-finals in the street dance battle, Seacon Street International Challenge in Thailand.
Juvie Lin, who hails from Siem Reap and leads the Cambodian Dance Crew Polarix, wowed the judges with his agility and style, which Cambodia’s youth have become to love. The 23-year-old out-danced 54 participants across the Asia Pacific and has made the Top 4.
The Seacon International Street Challenge has been successfully running for over ten years and this year is joined by the famous United Dance Organisation (UDO).
Juvie has been a Cellcard Brand Ambassador for the past year and is growing in both talent and popularity, said Cellcard Chief Executive Officer Ian Watson.
“For Cellcard we took on Juvie Lin and the Polarix Dance Crew because we strongly believe in backing local talent and supporting young Cambodians to reach their true potential,” Mr Watson said.
“Since signing him as a Brand Ambassador, Juvie has continued to build his profile and Cellcard is very proud of his achievement as the only Cambodian in this contest which is followed by millions of young people around the world,” he said.
“He is a great example of a Cambodian ambassador who can step into the global arena and truly represent his country in a field which demonstrates his passion.”
