The everjobs Career Fair 2017 hosted by everjobs.com.kh, the fastest growing online career portal in the Kingdom, will be held on June 25 at Aeon Mall on the occasion of the company’s second year anniversary in the country.

“What a better way of celebrating our two years anniversary in Cambodia than doing what we know best: bringing together employers and top talent in the country,” said Niels Van Klooster, country manager at everjobs.com.kh.

The event is expected to welcome thousands of young professionals, including the regular visitors of the mall, and will be attended by 30 local and international companies including Chip Mong Group, Cellcard, Cambodia Brewery, DKSH and Sathapana Bank.

Within the past two years, everjobs has become a key player in Cambodia’s online job market, with on average 7,500 visits per day on its website, 46,000 CV’s on its database and more than 800 companies featuring their jobs on the platform in 2016. The first edition of the everjobs Career Fair took place in June last year at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, gathering 30 of the top companies in the market and more than 1,500 job seekers.

“The event we organized last year, our first job fair in the country, was a real success and represented a breakthrough for everjobs in Cambodia,” added Niels van Klooster. “This year, we wanted to bring it to the next level by choosing a venue that will offer more exposure to the employers and wider access to information for professionals.”

During the everjobs Career Fair 2017, job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with HR Managers, learn about the job opportunities available in the market and have on the spot one-on-one interviews with employers. The venue will also have a dedicated area for company presentations and workshops on leadership and CV, cover letter building and job interview training.

“It’s almost impossible to visit 30 employers in one day in any other setting outside of a job fair,” noted everjobs Cambodia business development manager Marie Balandreau. “By attending a job fair, job seekers have the opportunity to strategically visit recruiter booths, maximising their time and effort to develop their professional career. It is also a good opportunity for job seekers to discover potential career paths that they wouldn’t have considered otherwise.”

The Career Fair is open to all from fresh graduates to experienced professionals from a wide range of industries. Candidates are strongly encouraged to bring a hard copy of their CV in order to apply for the roles directly and to upload the soft copy of their CV on www.everjobs.com.kh prior to attending.
