The Cambodian National Single Window (NSW) was launched in 2019 by the Ministry of Economy and Finance to help facilitate import and export activities, especially within the ASEAN region. Now nine further ministries and several institutions have been included.
The NSW was implemented to upload standardised information and documents with a single entry point for all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. This digitised process is meant to speed up things and add accountability and transparency.
The General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) manages the planning, development, and implementation of the system in Cambodia which is also crucial to improve trade efficiency and competitiveness among ASEAN members who use the ASEAN Single Window (ASW). This improved the customs clearance gaming members and is meant to speed up the sharing and electronic exchange of customs data.
According to the Khmer Times, this third phase in Cambodia will last twelve months and will see the inclusion of:
- Ministry of Interior
- Ministry of National Defence
- Ministry of Economy and Finance
- Ministry of Mines and Energy
- Ministry of Culture and Fines Arts
- Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications

- National Bank of Cambodia
- Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries
