Royal Enfield launches in Cambodia

International motorcycle brand, Royal Enfield, has launched its first flagship store in the capital of Phnom Penh, with TF Motors its official distributor in the Kingdom.
Royal Enfield has made five of its bike models available in Cambodia in 2020, all of which feature either a single-cylinder or twin-cylinder engine.

Cambodian driving license
Cambodia updated its traffic laws earlier in 2020 and have been enforcing license and registrations. The fine for not having a motorbike driving license was previously $4 but increased to $15. By law, every driver in the Kingdom of Cambodia needs a valid drivers license but currently, you don't require a license for motorbikes under 125cc. Regardless its recommended you still have a Cambodian or International drivers license. You can find out more about the type of Cambodian driving licenses here. Type A driving licenses are required for driving motorcycles in Cambodia- Type A1: Type 1 of Type A driver’s license for motorcycles with a for 49-125cc.
