The Ministry announced that it is inviting all tour operators, associations, development partners, investors, and related institutions to join in efforts to enhance the promotion of Cambodia's tourism potential on the international stage.

The objective is to provide investment opportunities and attract a greater number of international investors and tourists to visit and invest in Cambodia. ‘Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Berlin’ is the world’s largest tourism trade fair held every year in March. It welcomes approximately 10,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries and regions, including hotels, tourist boards, tour operators, system providers, airlines, and car rental companies.

What To Expect From ITB Berlin In 2024

The 2024 edition of ITB Berlin will host 5,500 exhibitors representing 160 countries and is expected to draw over 10,000 visitors from 180 countries, including 1,300 international buyers. The event will also be attended by more than 3,400 international media representatives and travel bloggers.

The Cambodian tourism ministry has reserved a 112-square-metre pavilion space, which can accommodate booths for up to 20 companies who will have a chance to showcase their products and tourism services, as well as engage with international business partners. The ministry will also organise promotional activities and host a Cambodia Cocktail Party at this pavilion space to showcase Cambodia's tourist potential.

Tour operators, associations, development partners, investors, and related institutions who wish to participate in the above-mentioned events are encouraged to register promptly until February 16, 2024.

Participants accepted to attend ITB Berlin will receive:

  1. One counter with their brand logo and two seats.
  2. One Exhibitor Pass.
  3. Registration as a co-exhibitor in the ITB Berlin 2024 Exhibitor Portal, which allows participants to schedule appointments with members of the ITB Buyers Circle.
  4. Five invitation cards for participants’ partners to attend the Cambodia Cocktail Party.
  5. The opportunity to attend a solidarity meal with the Cambodian Association in Germany.
